Treat Pakistan matches like a comedy series’: Ex-cricketer slams team after series loss to Bangladesh
Pakistan cricket is in BIG trouble. After losing the T20 World Cup? NO. After losing to India? NO. Now they have lost an ODI series to BANGLADESH. And former player Kamran Akmal is SO angry, he said we should watch Pakistan matches like “a comedy series”. Let me tell you everything.

Pakistan played a 3-match ODI series in Bangladesh. And guess what? They LOST 2-1.
1st ODI: Bangladesh won by 8 wickets (Pakistan 114 all out – LOWEST ever vs BD.)

Kamran Akmal's ANGRY Reaction
Kamran Akmal is a former Pakistan wicketkeeper-batter. He played 53 Tests and 157 ODIs for Pakistan. Now he is a commentator and cricket expert. And he is FURIOUS.
He appeared on Pakistani show “The Game Plan” and said some CRAZY things.
On Watching Pakistan Matches:
“Why are you losing your mind, getting hyper? You should laugh and enjoy yourself. You should watch Pakistan cricket as if you are watching a comedy serial because we are used to it by now.”
COMEDY SERIAL. Like “TMKOC” or something. He means – don’t take it seriously, just laugh at the FUNNY mistakes.
On Team Management Experimenting Too Much:
“If you give this team management thirty players in a three-match series, they will play all thirty of them. They are not concerned about winning and losing. They just love to experiment and nothing else.”
That’s TRUE. In the 3-match series, Pakistan used 18 players. They keep changing teams every match. No consistency.
Who is Accountable?
Akmal also posted on X (Twitter) after the third ODI, questioning DRS decisions. But his MAIN question was:
“They cannot understand that the Pakistani cricket team has been losing badly for the last seven-to-eight years. Today, they lost the series to a tenth-ranked team. What will you answer the fans who have strayed away from cricket? Is there anyone who is accountable?”
“Strayed away from cricket” means fans are STOPPING watching. Because the team keeps losing.
What Happened in the 3rd ODI?
In the final ODI on Saturday in Mirpur:
Bangladesh batted first and scored 251 runs (Tanzid Hasan 58, Towhid Hridoy 50, Mushfiqur Rahim 48). Pakistan bowlers: Naseem Shah took 3 wickets, Shaheen Afridi took 2.
Pakistan needed 252 to win. They started WELL. Sahibzada Farhan (50 off 46) and Babar Azam (47) added 92 runs. But then COLLAPSE. From 125/2 to 183/6. Faheem Ashraf tried with 43 runs, but Pakistan fell short by 11 runs.
Bangladesh won the series 2-1.

You know what I think? Kamran Akmal is RIGHT but also HARSH. Pakistan cricket IS in trouble. But they have TALENT. Babar is class, Shaheen is world-class, Rizwan is consistent, and Farhan is emerging.
The PROBLEM is SYSTEM. India has a strong system that produces Sanju Samson, Ishan Kishan, and Abhishek Sharma. Pakistan has TALENT, but SYSTEM FAILS them.
If Pakistan fixes its management, it can be a top team again.
